Then again, if you like to get major air and perform tricks while flying through the hot summer evening, you should see this, as well.

And lastly, if you simply have nothing better to do, you should watch as David Smith performs virtual ATV tricks for your entertainment, via fast-moving high-flying ATVs. A far cry from the an early version of the game we played just last week at the SF Auto Show in San Francisco, California, ATV Offroad Fury appears well on its way to becoming a very fun, original and highly enjoyable racing game.

The control is very solid and players will find that they have complete control over the vehicles when either on the ground or in the air. Players will find that landing the quad correctly so that no momentum is lost is one of the most important facets of the game that must be learned to be successful. While based on real-life physics that takes into account true gravity equations, the game does bring in some arcade-based elements to ensure that the level of fun is high at all times.

First and foremost, while the insane jumps might seem out of this world, they are actually based on real world physics and any of the jumps performed in the game would happen basically the same in real life. The only difference is that you can actually land these tremendous jumps in the game without crushing yourself or your vehicle -- which would happen if you were to try to land a similar jump in the real world.

Furthermore, it is also possible to turn yourself very slightly in the air to make up for a jump that might take you straight off of the track. The game also makes excellent use of a unique Pre-Load meter that lets players take off higher on their jumps by pressing up and then pulling back on the left analog stick to have the rider lean forward to load his front suspensions and then pull back as the jump is being made to get more air.

The tracks, which have been designed by Motocross champion Stefan Concada, are brilliantly designed and have a nice mixture of turns, hills, and bumps.

And unlike other stars who have helped with course design in the game, Stefan actually did much of the work himself in Photoshop, 3D Studio Max and other programs. On the visual front, the game is actually looking pretty good. The draw distance is pretty good, and even though you can still see some draw-in, you can really see far into the horizon and will even notice bikes racing far in the distance if you happen to be on a high level of the track looking down.

The environments are also fully 3D and some of the races allow players to go anywhere on the screen that can be seen.
